What the job is about
The Shop Assistant works inside the VKB Commercial Services division. Your day‑to‑day tasks will help the store run smoothly, keep the depot safe and make sure shoppers leave happy. You will:
- Greet customers and help them load purchases.
- Answer questions about products in a friendly, professional way.
- Receive new deliveries, move boxes to the right places and pack items safely.
- Keep shelves stocked, tidy and visually appealing.
- Clean the floor, aisles and workstations so everything stays neat.
- Support teammates with any extra duties that pop up.
- Follow all health‑and‑safety rules to protect yourself and others.
Because the role involves lifting and moving items, you need to be fit enough for manual work and willing to work weekends and public holidays as scheduled.
