Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Conduct daily inspections in your designated work area.
- Manage tailings material at the site and deposit areas.
- Assist with operational challenges and promptly report deviations to your supervisor.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations strictly.
- Operate pipelines, including extensions and valve management.
- Take accountability for your performance and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or Equivalent.
Experience:
- 0–2 years relevant experience in earth-moving, mining, or related environments.
- Background in tailings dam operation is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain observance to detail.
- Proactive, innovative, and action-oriented approach.
General Requirements
- Must understand and follow standard operating procedures.
- Medically fit to work in a mining environment.
- Clear criminal record as per mine screening processes.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
