About the Position

Eskom’s Renewables Division is looking for fresh talent to join its Graduate in Training (GIT) Programme. The role is graded at level L07 and sits within the Eskom Renewables Business Unit at the Megawatt Park campus. This is a launch‑pad for anyone who wants to start a career in the energy sector, especially in clean power projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Rotate through several teams inside Eskom Renewables, giving you a broad view of how the company operates.
  • Help prepare reports, presentations and data sheets for senior managers.
  • Assist with the planning and monitoring of renewable energy projects such as solar farms and wind parks.
  • Work directly with customers and partners, learning how to build strong professional relationships.

Skills and Qualities We’re Looking For

  • Good written and spoken communication – you can explain ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work well with others, listen actively and keep good relationships.
  • Basic computer skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical mind – you enjoy spotting patterns and solving problems.
  • Resilience – you can stay focused even when tasks get challenging.

Education Requirements

You should hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields (or a closely related area):

  • BCom in Finance
  • BEng in Electrical Engineering or Control & Instrumentation
  • BA/BA Honours in Communication, Stakeholder Management, Public Management or International Relations
  • LLB (Law)
  • BSc in Computer Science, Informatics or Information Technology
  • BSc in Mathematics & Statistics or Geospatial Sciences
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • BSc in Project Management
  • BSc in Data Analytics

Preferred Experience

While this is a graduate programme, any internships, campus projects, volunteer work or part‑time jobs that gave you exposure to data analysis, teamwork or customer interaction will be seen as a plus.
