Purpose of the Job:
Help the Sourcing Manager and team to get the best prices and quality for the items we need in the Lubricants Division.
What You Need:
Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in a Relevant Field)
- Experience in buying raw materials
- Experience managing suppliers and handling contracts
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of import/export processes
- Ability to step in as Import/Export Coordinator when needed

Advantageous:
- BCom or BTech Degree
- 4 years in procurement
- 3 years managing contractors in the Lubes Environment
What You’ll Be Doing:
Implementing Procurement Strategy:
- Provide detailed procurement and sourcing reports
- Occasionally visit plants, distribution centers, and suppliers
Procurement Process:
- Prepare and manage requests for tenders, quotes, and purchase orders
- Assist in evaluating commercial tenders
- Place purchase orders in SAP
Sourcing Optimization:
- Monitor compliance with procurement processes
- Manage the procurement database and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Report on stock outs and quality issues
- Update SAP contracts, pricing, and source lists
- Provide feedback to suppliers on orders and payments
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build networks with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain good relationships with support functions and suppliers
- Distribute reports as needed to internal customers and management
