Requirements for This Job
- You must be registered with the SA Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Auxiliary Worker.
- Be computer literate and have solid skills in problem-solving, report writing, and conflict resolution.
- You should be honest, friendly, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.
- The ability to network and travel when necessary is also important.
What You’ll Do in This Role
As a Social Auxiliary Worker, you’ll help support the Victim Offender Dialogue Programme. This includes locating victims, keeping records, and helping with meetings between offenders and victims. You’ll also connect with community support groups like NGOs and religious organizations to make sure everyone involved understands the benefits of the program. Your work will involve working with social workers, managing data, and making sure everything is on track for reintegration programs.
