About the Job
Clicks Group needs two Stock Clerks for the Inventory team at the Montague Gardens Distribution Centre in Cape Town. This is a permanent, full‑time role in a busy warehouse. If you are careful, can follow instructions, and like working with numbers, this position can help you start a career in supply‑chain and inventory management.
What You’ll Do
- Keep track of all stock movements in your assigned aisle.
- Make sure the physical items match the quantities shown in the computer system.
- Record stock adjustments and handle any scratches or losses to keep shrinkage low.
- Carry out regular stock checks and follow the scorecard guidelines.
- Follow all company policies, health‑and‑safety rules, and housekeeping standards.
- Work with the picking team to place products in the right slots so orders can be filled on time.
- Report any differences between physical stock and system stock right away and help fix them.
- Keep clear records of every stock movement and adjustment.
- Support other inventory‑related tasks as needed.
