What You’ll Do Every Day
- Give friendly, clear advice about skin‑care and beauty items.
- Talk to customers, find out what they need, and suggest the right products.
- Answer any product questions with confidence.
- Boost sales by showing related items, offering upgrades, and promoting special deals.
- Work towards weekly and monthly sales goals.
- Keep an eye on which items sell well and share ideas to improve sales.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the newest beauty trends, product launches, and store promotions.
- Carry out day‑to‑day tasks in the beauty aisle, like arranging displays and cleaning shelves.
- Help with stock checks and make sure nothing gets lost or damaged.
- Keep the store looking neat and follow all administrative rules.
- Set up eye‑catching displays that match Clicks’ brand style.
- Be a positive brand ambassador and give each shopper a great experience.
- Promote the Clicks ClubCard and encourage customers to sign up.
- Push private‑label and exclusive beauty ranges to increase sales.
- Support Clicks’ aim to be the go‑to shop for health and beauty needs.
What You Need to Succeed
- Finished Grade 12.
- A certificate in beauty or skin care is a plus but not required.
- Past work in beauty, skin care, retail, fast‑moving consumer goods, sales, or marketing helps.
- Strong basics of good customer service.
- Good knowledge of beauty and skin‑care products.
- Understanding of how to set up merchandised displays and run promos.
- Experience with stock handling and inventory checks.
- Ability to sell and persuade customers effectively.
- Goal‑oriented mindset – you like meeting targets.
- Clear communication and people skills.
- Friendly, confident, and approachable personality.
- Strong focus on helping customers.
- Good planning and organization.
- Can stay calm when things get busy.
- Works well in a team and shows professional behavior.
