What the internship is all about
Capitec is looking for energetic, self‑driven young people who want to learn how a bank works from the inside. As an intern you will not sit on the sidelines – you will be treated like a junior CEO from day one. Expect to:

Who should apply
- You have finished a tertiary qualification (degree, diploma or certificate) in the last three years.
- You are a South African citizen with a valid 13‑digit ID.
- You have a clean credit and criminal record.
- You can move to one of Capitec’s offices in Stellenbosch (Western Cape), Century City (Western Cape) or Sandton (Gauteng).
- No previous work experience is required, although any past internship or part‑time job in a related field is a plus.
Minimum education requirements
- Grade 12 (National Certificate) or an equivalent vocational qualification.
- A relevant tertiary qualification – see the list of preferred fields below.
