Job Summary:
As a Valuation Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in the Insurance team, focusing on valuation, financial reporting, and management reporting duties. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough valuations of assets and liabilities to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Providing expert analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
- Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement effective financial strategies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial strategies and initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management, employees, and clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, or a related field
- Proficiency in financial software, including Excel, and accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
