Key Responsibilities:

• Execute key accounting functions: You will be responsible for executing key accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide accurate financial status: You will provide an accurate financial status of all systems across the business, ensuring that financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure financial data integrity: You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data within our banking system, driving operational excellence and financial integrity in an efficient and timeous manner.
• Provide subject matter expertise: You will provide subject matter expertise, technical know-how, experience, oversight, and guidance for others in respect of a portfolio, function, or department.
• Drive business excellence: You will contribute to driving business excellence by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field: You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification: You must be a professional accounting certified individual, such as a CA(SA) or CIMA.
• Relevant experience: You must have relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: You must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
