About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for energetic, self-motivated individuals who share our passion for service in the banking industry. As a Service Consultant at Capitec Bank, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and exceeded.
- Utilize the Global One product offering to support clients in banking better and living better.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and develop personalized solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with Capitec Bank’s products and services, as well as internal business processes and procedures.
- Embody the Capitec Bank values and promote a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience:
- 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment.
- Alternatively, a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered.
- Ideal Experience:
- More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment.
- Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments.
- Qualifications:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
- Ideal or Preferred qualifications include a relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, and certification in Finance or Banking.
- Knowledge:
- Minimum knowledge requirements include basic calculations and a retail/consumer service environment.
- Ideal knowledge requirements include Capitec Bank products, internal business processes and procedures, and organizational policies.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship management and computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
