Job Summary:

As a Service Consultant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling, and exceeding their needs. You will be responsible for using the Global One product offering to support our clients in banking better and living better.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and exceeded
  • Use the Global One product offering to support clients in banking better and living better
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with internal business processes, procedures, and organizational policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum:
    • 3-6 months of previous client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
    • Alternatively, a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered
  • Ideal:
    • More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
    • Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments
  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
    • Ideal or Preferred: Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar; Certification in Finance or Banking
  • Knowledge:
    • Minimum:
      • Basic calculations
      • Retail/consumer service environment
    • Ideal:
      • Capitec Bank Products
      • Internal business processes and procedures
      • Organizational Policies, including (but not limited to) the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
  • Skills:
    • Communications Skills
    • Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills
    • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
