About the Job:

As a Service Consultant East, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding their needs. You will be responsible for using the Global One product offering to support our clients in banking better and living better.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service by fulfilling and exceeding client needs
  • Use the Global One product offering to support clients in banking better and living better
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Capitec Bank products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with internal business processes and procedures, as well as organizational policies

Requirements:

Minimum:

  • 3-6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Commerce or similar)

Ideal:

  • More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
  • Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
  • Certification in Finance or Banking

Knowledge:

  • Basic calculations
  • Retail/consumer service environment

Ideal:

  • Capitec Bank Products
  • Internal business processes and procedures
  • Organizational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
