About the Role:

As a Service Consultant LP, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing top-notch client service, meeting and exceeding their needs, and promoting our Global One product offering to help them Bank Better and Live Better. If you’re a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and exceeded
  • Promote and sell Capitec Bank’s products and services to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to increase loyalty and retention
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and service targets
  • Stay up-to-date with internal business processes, procedures, and policies

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 3-6 months of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
    • OR, a relevant tertiary qualification with no experience
  • Ideal Experience:
    • More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
    • Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments
  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
    • OR, a relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
    • OR, certification in Finance or Banking
  • Knowledge:
    • Basic calculations
    • Retail/consumer service environment
    • Capitec Bank Products
    • Internal business processes and procedures
    • Organisational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
