About the Role:

As a Service Consultant, you will be responsible for enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent customer service, fulfilling and exceeding their needs. You will work closely with our clients to understand their financial goals and provide solutions that meet their needs, using our Global One product offering.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their queries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize our Global One product offering to support clients in achieving their financial goals
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and excellent client experience
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services, as well as internal business processes and procedures
  • Adhere to organizational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • 3 to 6 months previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
  • Certification in Finance or Banking

Ideal Qualifications:

  • More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
  • Demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Capitec Bank products
  • Internal business processes and procedures
  • Organizational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
