Job Description:

As a Service Consultant, you will be responsible for enhancing the lives of our clients by providing top-notch customer service. You will be the face of our bank, and it’s up to you to make a lasting impression. Your role will involve:

• Providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding client needs
• Using the Global One product offering to support clients in banking better and living better
• Building relationships with clients and understanding their needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A minimum of 3-6 months of previous client service experience in a retail/financial/banking environment (or a relevant tertiary qualification)
• Ideal candidates will have more than 1 year of client service experience and a demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments
• Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational qualification
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar (ideal or preferred)
• Certification in Finance or Banking (ideal or preferred)
• Knowledge and understanding of:
  • Basic calculations
  • Retail/consumer service environment
  • Capitec Bank Products (ideal)
  • Internal business processes and procedures (ideal)
  • Organisational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP) (ideal)
• Strong communications, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment:

• Have a clear criminal and credit record
• Have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
