Job Overview
Purpose Statement:
As an Account Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running and maintenance of portfolios by providing a central point of contact for customer service, administrative support, and identifying opportunities to add value to clients. You will also be responsible for monitoring loan facilities in the portfolio on a daily basis against set parameters and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues effectively
- Assist with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote relevant products and services to clients
- Monitor loan facilities in the portfolio on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with set parameters and conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and achieve business objectives
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 1 year in Business Banking
- Proven experience in preparing and motivating credit applications
- Strong understanding of credit principles and practices, including credit applications, securities, and balance sheet requirements
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Diploma in Commerce or Banking
- Knowledge of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) and relevant financial regulations
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce
- Knowledge of Capitec/Business Bank systems and processes
- Understanding of competitor product offerings, channels, operational, and marketing tactics
