Job Description:

Capitec Bank Limited is a leading financial services provider in South Africa, and we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing end-user technology support to all users across various locations, including campuses, branches, regional offices, and roaming users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users across various locations, including campuses, branches, regional offices, and roaming users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to repair faulty equipment and log incidents
  • Propose solutions to prevent incidents from re-occurring
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Information Technology – Technical Support or Information Technology – Computer Science
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a corporate technical support environment
  • 3 years’ knowledge related to Microsoft hardware and software technology
  • 1-2 years’ knowledge of Azure fundamentals, including a completed AZ900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of diagnostic principles and troubleshooting
  • Client relationship management practices and principles
  • A+/N+ certificate

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation skills
