About the Role:

As a Technical Platform Lead, you will be the mastermind behind our Salesforce strategy, overseeing the full product lifecycle and Salesforce ecosystem to ensure we build and grow a robust platform that meets our business needs. You’ll be responsible for providing strategic direction to technical teams across the Salesforce platform, ensuring we’re using the latest and greatest features to drive efficiency, optimisation, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical trajectory of our Salesforce delivery across multiple feature teams
• Develop scalable, robust solutions that support core business functions such as Financial Services Cloud (Sales and Services), nCino, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, etc.
• Define and enforce SDLC standards to ensure our Salesforce platform is secure, reliable, and scalable
• Work closely with teams across Business Bank and the broader Capitec group to ensure org health and a well-architected platform
• Identify opportunities to drive maximum value from Salesforce capabilities, thinking big and long term
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement business requirements, ensuring alignment with our overall business strategy

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in a Salesforce environment
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud
• Experience with agile development methodologies and SDLC standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• A passion for innovation and driving business growth, with a willingness to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
