About the Role:

As a Software Test Analyst II, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software meets and complies with the defined or standardized quality specifications within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your primary responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with Business Analysts and Feature Teams to define test scenarios and prepare, participate in, and oversee the execution of test cases.
Validating functional and non-functional test requirements and preparing test data in terms of input and expected outcome data.
Ensuring that developed software meets and complies with the defined or standardized quality specifications within the SDLC.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A Grade 12 National Certificate or Vocational qualification.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology.
A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing within a business context.
Knowledge of and exposure to impact analysis when introducing software changes.
Understanding of the full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Best practice/industry standard in software and hardware testing, reporting, tracking, and follow-up, and Software Quality Assurance (SQA).

Ideal Qualifications:

A National Diploma in Information Technology.
Knowledge of Capitec’s Way of Work (WoW) during projects.
Experience in continuous delivery environments.
Application of test tools.
Test Automation.
Financial/Banking Systems.
Reinforce with stakeholders/feature team appropriate testing environments and timelines.
SQL Query/Fundamentals.
