Job Description:
As a Bank Better Champion, you will be the face of Capitec Bank, welcoming clients and coordinating the branch flow to ensure excellent client service. You will be responsible for assisting clients at the ATM and completing transactions on remote or self-service channels. In this role, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required to excel in service consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients and coordinate the branch flow to ensure efficient queue functioning
- Provide excellent client service and assist clients at the ATM
- Complete transactions on remote or self-service channels
- Gain knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting
Requirements:
- Minimum:
- No experience required, but a Grade 12 National Certificate is essential
- Basic calculations, communication skills, and the ability to engage with people
- Clarity and understanding of own aspirations, being ambitious and keen to learn
- Ideal:
- Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment
- Knowledge of bank branch environments and Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal)
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Ability to manage relationships and work in a team environment
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
