About the Role
The SAP Systems Analyst HCM – West position is a pivotal role in our team, ensuring stability and full functionality within the payroll and time areas of responsibility. SIT testing of tax updates, patches, bundles, upgrades, will be carried out with the partnership of the payroll team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Providing operational support to end-users to optimize their experience with SAP EC payroll, ensuring smooth functionality and resolving technical payroll issues as they arise.
- Maintaining the SAP payroll system, ensuring it remains compliant with regulations, operates efficiently, and stays up to date with the latest software developments.
- Keeping abreast of payroll legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Working closely with the payroll team to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities.
Minimum Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Ability to configure EC data models, workflows, MDF Alerts & business rules, benefits, time off, document templates, and new setups such as wage type configurations.
- Understanding of business Human Capital Management processes.
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of the payroll integration to SAP S4.
- Formal Integration practices.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Systems Analysis Methodologies.
- 5-7 years’ experience in SAP and Data Integration in the following areas:
- SAP HCM (PY)
- Integration with S4 FICO modules
- SAP SuccessFactors role-based permissions / authorisations (incl. GRC)
- HCM Master Data
- SAP Workflow
- Understanding of Role based permissions.
Minimum Knowledge
The following knowledge areas are essential for success in this role:
- Understanding of SAP SuccessFactors integration with S4Hana.
- Systems Implementation and Technical Systems Support.
- Developing Integrations.
Ideal Candidates
In addition to the minimum requirements, ideal candidates should have the following skills and experience:
- Jira Core
- Confluence
- ITIL Principles and the application thereof
- Banking business models
- Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
- Experience in SF compensation and variable pay is advantageous
- Experience in point-to-point replication between SF EC and SAP ECP is an advantage
