Job Summary:
As a Revenue Assurance analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of fee and interest transactions on the accounts of Capitec’s retail banking clients. You will be responsible for systematically analyzing, quantifying, reconciling, and testing the accuracy of fee and interest transactions, using the appropriate business logic and relevant banking and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and quantify fee and interest transactions on the accounts of Capitec’s retail banking clients
- Reconcile and test the accuracy of fee and interest transactions, using the appropriate business logic and relevant banking and regulatory standards
- Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in fee and interest transactions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies in fee and interest transactions
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track and analyze fee and interest transactions
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on revenue assurance processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an analytical capacity, working in a dynamic, mathematically complex environment
- Honours degree with 0-2 years of experience in an analytical capacity, working in a dynamic, mathematically complex environment
- Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Mathematical Sciences or Financial Management
- Honours Degree in Mathematical Sciences or Financial Management (ideal or preferred)
- Knowledge:
- Accounting principles
- Relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Management of accounts
- Computerised accounting systems and principles
- Financial Analysis and interpretation
- Basic programming techniques
- Advanced time value of money principles and logic
