Job Purpose Statement:
As a Marketing Manager West, you will be responsible for:
- Being the custodian of the integrated marketing plan, understanding Capitec’s market and clients’ needs, and acting as an advisor to internal business stakeholders.
- Meeting business objectives through acquiring and optimizing quality clients.
- Developing effective integrated marketing strategies and plans to deliver the right message, to the right client, at the right time, and on the right platform for our products and services.
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience in a large, complex, and client-focused organization.
- Proven experience in managing a team.
- Ideally, experience gained in an FMCG, retail banking, or services industry.
- Cross-functional project coordination and management skills.
Qualifications:
You must have:
- A Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management
- Ideally, a relevant postgraduate degree in Marketing or Business Management
Knowledge:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A solid understanding of principles of brand marketing.
- Proficiency in data analysis, client profiling, and segmentation.
- Experience in digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Strategic marketing management and campaign management skills.
- General business and commerce knowledge.
- People management principles and practices.
- Internal and external communication methods and practices.
- Stakeholder management principles and practices.

You will need to possess:
