Job Summary:
As a Business Banking Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and providing expert advice to clients in our Boksburg branch. You will be the face of our bank, providing guidance on banking products and services, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver exceptional client service, providing expert advice and guidance on banking products and services.
2. Coordinate branch flow to ensure efficient functioning and guide clients through our service channels.
3. Provide account analysis support to assist with processing of credit requests and fulfillment of credit applications covenants and general credit support.
4. Identify and respond to client needs, providing solutions and recommendations to meet their business banking requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Commerce or Business Management
• 1-2 years of work experience in a banking or financial services environment

Ideal Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Commerce or Business Management
• 1-2 years of experience in business banking, preferably in a commercial banking environment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum:
  • Basic business concepts and commercial practices
  • Basic banking concepts, accounts, and credit principles
  • Knowledge of standards, behavior, disciplines, and practices in places of work
• Ideal:
  • Business banking environment, including features, benefits, and value propositions of products and services
  • Credit principles and practices, including an understanding of credit application, securities, and balance sheet requirements
  • Client relationship management and service principles
  • The Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA)

Desirable Skills:

• Administration skills
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills
