Job Description:

Purpose Statement:

As a Hartebeespoort Bank Better Champion (North), you’ll be responsible for welcoming clients, coordinating branch flow, and providing exceptional customer service. You’ll also assist clients at the ATM and complete transactions on remote or self-service channels. This role is perfect for those who want to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in service consulting.

Experience:

  • Minimum: No experience required, but you must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate.
  • Ideal: Some client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment would be a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Ideal or Preferred: Any additional qualifications in a related field would be an asset.

Knowledge:

  • Minimum:
    • Basic calculations
    • How to engage with people
    • Clarity and understanding of your aspirations, being ambitious and keen to learn
  • Ideal:
    • Knowledge of bank branch environments
    • Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal)

Skills:

  • Communications Skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills

  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
