About the Job
Because We Said So Podcast needs a friendly and organized person to help with both studio work and online posts. If you like working with audio, video, and social media, this role could be a great fit. You will be part of a small team that creates podcast episodes and shares them on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
What You Need to Have
- Matric certificate – you must have finished high school.
- Some admin experience – jobs like office assistant, receptionist, or anything that involved keeping records and schedules are useful.
- A smartphone and a personal laptop – you’ll need these to edit pictures, upload videos, and stay in touch with the team.
- A driver’s licence and a reliable car – you may have to travel to locations outside the studio.
What You Will Do
Daily Office Tasks
- Keep the team’s calendar up‑to‑date.
- Upload new podcast episodes, teaser clips, and graphics to all social media pages.
- Check how posts are doing (likes, comments, shares) and write short reports.
On‑Set Support
- Help set up microphones, cameras, and lighting for each recording.
- Carry equipment to off‑site locations and make sure everything is ready before the shoot starts.
- Work with the host and guests to keep the recording running smoothly.
Extra Help
- Run small errands such as picking up supplies or delivering files.
- Offer general help to the production team whenever it is needed.
