What is the programme?
The Government Printing Works Graduate Internship is a 24‑month paid training scheme. It is designed especially for South African graduates who are currently unemployed. Interns will get real‑world work experience that matches the field they studied. You must not have taken part in any other internship before – if you hide this fact, your contract can be cancelled.

What will you do as an intern?
- Take part in everyday work activities in your department.

- Work under the guidance of experienced staff members.
Who can apply?
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Must hold the qualification listed for the internship you want.
- Must not have taken part in any other internship before.
- Must submit a separate application for each position you are interested in, using the exact job title and reference number.
If your qualification was earned abroad, you need a validation from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Documents you need to send
- A filled‑in and signed Z83 application form (the latest version).
- An updated CV showing your education and any work experience.
Only candidates who make it to the shortlist will be asked to bring certified copies of their certificates and any other supporting papers, either before the interview or on the interview day.
Online submissions: attach only the CV and the completed Z83 form. The total file size must stay under 2 MB. Do not send pictures, ZIP files, IMG files or JPEG documents – those will be rejected.
