Cubix is looking for a motivated graduate or diploma holder to join its team in Durban, KwaZulu‑Natal for a 12‑month paid internship as a Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. You will get hands‑on experience with tools such as Power BI, SQL, SSRS and SSIS while helping the company make smarter decisions.
What You’ll Do Every Day
- Keep data clean, correct and easy to find across all reports and databases.
- Write and run SQL queries to pull, change and study data.
- Use SSIS to automate tasks like assigning leads and processing data.
- Look at business data to spot trends, odd patterns or chances to improve.
- Build and update reports and dashboards with Power BI.
- Help create and maintain SSRS reporting solutions.
- Refresh old reports so they match the latest business needs.
- Turn complex data into simple, easy‑to‑read charts and presentations.
- Talk with different teams to learn what they need from reports.
- Design reporting tools that fit those needs exactly.
- Find and fix data problems when they appear.
- Spot errors in reports and suggest fixes.

Who Should Apply
You’ll be a good fit if you meet the following basics:
- South African citizen.
- Completed Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and a relevant diploma or degree (IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a similar field).
- Know the basics of SQL and Power BI; extra points for SSRS or SSIS knowledge.
- Understand data analysis and reporting concepts.
- Have a clean criminal record and a clean ITC record.
- Aged between 18 and 35.
- Not currently employed, nor in another internship or learnership program.
- Strong at solving problems and paying attention to details.
- Able to explain technical ideas in simple words.
- Good at working with a team and learning new skills.
