As a Permanent Part‑Timer you will be part of the daily hustle in the adidas store. Shifts can be on weekdays, evenings or weekends, depending on what the store needs.
Key duties
- Greet every customer with a smile and offer help.
- Explain product features (like boost cushioning or climate‑control fabrics) in an easy way.
- Suggest extra items that match what the customer is buying.
- Reach personal and store sales goals.
- Handle cash, card and other approved payment methods accurately.
- Learn the full adidas range – from classic trainers to the latest performance wear.
- Tag new products, check shipment paperwork, and put items on the sales floor.
- Set up displays and keep them looking fresh according to the store’s plan.
- Keep the shop clean and organized.
- Follow loss‑prevention rules and report anything suspicious.
- Take part in online training (Atticus, AREA) and learn to use Power BI tools to see which products sell best.
- Pitch in with other tasks when the manager asks.
Who Should Apply
You should have a Matric certificate and either no retail experience or up to a year of it. Experience in fashion retail is a plus, but not a must. adidas is looking for people who:
