The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) needs a Human Resources Administrator for a 24‑month fixed‑term contract. The role reports to the Manager of Human Resources and will keep the HR team running smoothly every day.
What you need to study for

What experience will help you get the job
- At least one year of work in HR administration.
- Knowing how to use SAGE 300 People (a payroll and HR software) is a plus, but not a must.

- Can draft simple reports.

What you’ll actually do
- General admin support – help the HR team with everyday tasks.
- Track paperwork – keep an eye on HR forms and documents.
- Watch deadlines – make sure all internal and external reports are turned in on time.
- Maintain electronic records – keep the digital filing system tidy and up‑to‑date.
- Assist with HR projects – help plan and run special HR activities.
- Other admin duties – take on additional tasks as needed.
Money and benefits
- Total salary package: between R434 755 and R502 146 per year.
- You can arrange the package so you receive a 13th‑month cheque (extra payment).
- The salary already includes the employer’s contribution to housing, medical aid and pension.
