Top Billing TV Invites Qualified Candidates to Apply for the Presenter Position – Applications Close on 30 June 2026

Top Billing is looking for a fresh face to host its popular TV show. If you think you have the energy, confidence and a love for TV, this could be your chance to step into the spotlight. Read the full details below, then record your audition video and share it on the platforms listed.

Who Can Apply?

  • You must be 18 years old or older when you send in your application.
  • You need the legal right to work in South Africa.
  • You must meet any extra requirements that appear in the official casting brief (for example, language ability or on‑camera experience).

If all of the above apply to you, you are eligible to join the search.

How to Submit Your Audition

  1. Create a short audition video (no longer than 2 minutes). Show why you would be the perfect Top Billing presenter – talk about your personality, any presenting experience, and why you love the show.
  2. Post the video on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
    • Use the hashtags #TopBillingAudition and #TopBillingPresenterSearch.
    • Tag the official accounts @TopBillingTV and @SABC3.
  3. The casting team may change the closing date, but the current deadline is 30 June 2026.

Make sure your video is clear, well‑lit and that you can be heard easily. A good video improves your chances of being shortlisted.

What Happens After You Submit?

  • Shortlisting: The casting team will review every video and pick the most promising candidates.
  • In‑person auditions: Shortlisted applicants may be asked to attend one or more face‑to‑face auditions in July or August 2026. Locations and dates will be confirmed later.
  • On‑camera challenges: During the audition days you might be asked to do live presenting tasks, mock TV segments, or other challenges that test your on‑screen skills.
  • Agreements: If you move forward, you could be asked to sign a short participation agreement. Failing to sign may mean you lose the invitation.

All travel, transport, and accommodation costs for the in‑person auditions are your responsibility unless the organizers say otherwise.
