Job Summary:

As a Valuation Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in the Insurance team, focusing on valuation, financial reporting, and management reporting duties. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough valuations of assets and liabilities to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Providing expert analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement effective financial strategies
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial strategies and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management, employees, and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, or a related field
  • Proficiency in financial software, including Excel, and accounting systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
