We’re seeking a Picker to join us! As a Picker, you’ll handle orders, keep things organized in the warehouse, and help with shipping. We need someone who pays close attention to details and keeps safety in mind for smooth operations.

What you’ll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

• Receive and review order notes for deliveries
• Pick items accurately using various methods like barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
• Pack items securely for shipment
• Take inventory, report shortages, and update stock records
• Assist in maintaining stock control, including replenishment and storage tasks
• Make sure work areas are clean, organized, and maintained regularly
• Secure containers on pallets using stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping
• Pack incoming stock, confirm accuracy of orders, and move completed orders to the shipping area
• Check packing lists for accuracy, inspect collected goods, and update computer systems
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks using handling equipment like jacks and forklifts
• Follow safety rules and guidelines when picking orders or operating handling equipment
• Support general warehouse duties as necessary
• Use an order-picker truck to pull orders when required

TEMPORARY GENERAL WORKERS

A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a General Worker to join their team.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Line Workers function is to assist in with labour contribution on production lines. It’s important that when applying for this post that you need to be able to follow instruction, work as a team with other staff members. Fixability in this role plays a critical part.

EXPERIENCE

·       Previous production operating experience is advantage

What you’ll do

• Following and abiding of all production procedures and processes
• Providing and upkeeping of all production quality standards and controls
• Assisting in alternative work areas from when required – (Wash Bay, Warehouse, Cleaning)
• Responsible for personal hygiene

• Teamwork – Cross functioning (must be flexible to work across production lines)
• Partaking and assisting in raw material warehouse stock takes and variance checks
• Cleaning and housekeeping of production facilities and workstations
