What You Need to Be Successful
Education and Skills
- Matric certificate: The finished year of high school in South Africa.
- Strong numbers and logic: You should be comfortable with calculations and spotting patterns.
- Reading the system: Some knowledge of tools like MFP, RMS Viewer, Size curves, JDA, and BDM helps you jump right in.
- Good admin skills: Keeping paperwork, spreadsheets, and files organized is part of the job.
- Retail or logistics experience is a plus, but if you’re still learning, show you’re eager to pick up new tools.
Technical Competence
- Big on numbers and data; an intermediate level of Excel is useful because many parts of the job involve sorting and recording information.
Behavioural Competence
- Energetic and proactive: Bring enthusiasm and take initiative.
- Great communicator: You’ll talk with colleagues inside and outside the company.
