North West Department of Health invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Internship Programme vacancies. The closing date for applications is 05 December 2025.
1. Student Internship Programme (18 Months)
- Reference: NWH 11/2025/01
- Stipend: R6 759.25 per month
- Term: 18‑month fixed contract
- Locations: Provincial Office & district offices in Bojanala, Ngaka Modiri Molecule, Dr Kenneth Kaunda and Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati
Who can apply?
- TVET students who have earned an N6 certificate
- Must have an experiential‑learning letter from a recognised Technical Vocational Education and Training College
- Should have completed material‑handling training
What studies are needed?
- N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management
- N6 Certificate in Financial Management
- N6 Business Management
- N6 Certificate in Management Assistant
- N6 Certificate in Public Management
2. Graduate Internship Programme (24 Months)
- Reference: NWH 11/2025/02
- Stipend: R7 978.50 per month
- Term: 24‑month fixed contract
- Locations: Same as the student programme
Minimum qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma from a recognised higher‑learning institution

- Human Resource Management
- Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing or Commerce
- Logistics Management, Transport Economics, Supply Chain Management or Transport Management
- Information Technology (including A+ and N+ certifications)
- Computer Science, Information Systems or Statistics
- Office Management and Technology
- Public Management or Administration
- Hospitality Management
- Dietetics
- Communications, Visual Arts, Graphic Design
- Law (LLB)
- Labour Relations or Labour Law
- Security Management or Records Management
- Epidemiology, Social Science, Operations Management, Industrial or Organizational Psychology
- Social Science or Statistics
