Clicks Group needs a friendly and reliable shop assistant and cashier to work in their De Aar store.

What you’ll do every day
- Count money carefully and make sure every sale is recorded correctly.
- Scan products and take payments from customers.
- Keep the cash drawer safe and follow the cash‑handling rules.
- Invite shoppers to join the Clicks ClubCard and explain how it works.
- Tell customers about sales and new products to boost sales.
- Smile, greet customers, and represent the Clicks brand in the best way.
- Keep shelves neat, the floor tidy, and the overall store looking great.
- Stay up‑to‑date on all new items, promotions, and store events.
What you need to know
- Simple math for quick calculations.
- Basic understanding of how a retail or FMCG shop runs.
- Know the ideas behind merchandising and sales promotions.
- Know how to track stock and report shortages.
- Understand what makes customer service great.

- Planning tasks so the shop runs smoothly.
- Solving problems right at the checkout.
- Focusing on what customers want and helping them feel welcome.

Minimum requirements
- At least a Grade 12 qualification.
