Who You’ll Report To:
You’ll be reporting to the Control Room Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle Emergencies: You’ll monitor and take action on emergency and non-emergency incidents.
- Dispatch Vehicles: Send vehicles to the right locations based on radio calls or incoming calls.
- Talk to Clients: Call clients to get accurate information and keep records up to date.
- Record Information: Enter all important details into the computer system.
- Monitor Radios: Keep track of all messages received and make sure vehicles are where they need to be.
- Report Incidents: Note and report all accidents and incidents to the right people.
- Admin Work: Make sure all paperwork and data related to incidents are completed and accurate.
- Update Timesheets: Keep timesheets updated and hand them to your supervisor.

Equipment and Computers:
- Report any problems with equipment to your supervisor.
- Handle all equipment carefully and avoid making personal calls on company phones.
Keep the Control Room Tidy:
- Make sure your workstation is clean and organized.
Talk to Clients:
- Help clients with any problems or complaints over the phone.
- Update client information and report any issues with fire alarm systems to the technical team.
- Pass any sales leads to the Sales Department.
Follow the Rules:
- Stick to the company’s disciplinary code and standing operating procedures.
- Keep up with new developments and maintain high performance standards.
- Provide excellent service at all times.
General Duties:
- Know all aspects of the company.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
- Be available for standby or overtime when needed.
- Train new staff to meet company standards.
- Help and mentor other team members to ensure quality work.
- Follow all company rules and procedures in your work.
