About the Job:

Our purpose is to enhance the lives of our clients by providing exceptional service, fulfilling, and exceeding their needs. As a Flagstaff Service Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our clients to "Bank Better and Live Better" using our Global One product offering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-6 months previous client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment (relevant tertiary qualification may be considered)
  • Ideal candidate will have more than 1 year of client service experience, a proven track record in sales and client-facing environments, and knowledge of Capitec Bank’s products.

Qualifications (Minimum):

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred):

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field
  • Certification in Finance or Banking

Knowledge:

  • Minimum knowledge and understanding of:
    • Basic calculations
    • Retail/consumer service environment
  • Ideal knowledge and understanding of:
    • Capitec Bank products
    • Internal business processes and procedures
    • Organisational Policies (including but not limited to, the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles)

Skills:

  • Communication, Interpersonal & Relationship Management, and Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
