About the Job

Purpose Statement

As a Service Consultant – LP, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling, and exceeding their needs. You will use the Global One product offering to support our clients to Bank Better and Live Better.

Experience

  • Minimum: 3-6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment or a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Ideal: More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment, with a demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment.

  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Ideal or Preferred: A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, or certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge

  • Minimum: Knowledge and understanding of basic calculations, retail/consumer service environment.
  • Ideal: Knowledge and understanding of Capitec Bank products, internal business processes and procedures, organizational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).

Skills

  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
