Job Description:
As a Service Consultant LP at Capitec Bank, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing top-notch client service, meeting and exceeding their needs, and utilizing our Global One product offering to support them in banking better and living better.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional client service, responding to client queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs
- Utilize our Global One product offering to support clients in banking better and living better
- Stay up-to-date with internal business processes and procedures, as well as organizational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment (or a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered)
- Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
- Basic calculations and knowledge of retail/consumer service environment
Ideal Requirements:
- More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
- Demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
- Certification in Finance or Banking
- Knowledge and understanding of Capitec Bank Products, internal business processes and procedures, and organizational policies
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Conditions of Employment:

- Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
