About the Role:
We’re seeking experienced Salesforce developers who can hit the ground running. As a Senior Salesforce Developer at Capitec Bank, you’ll be responsible for leveraging your expertise to develop and maintain cutting-edge Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with our internal stakeholders to identify and analyze business requirements, design and implement innovative solutions, and continuously improve our Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in Salesforce Financial Service Cloud, Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and DevOps and IT systems development processes (SDLC)
- Build and maintain high-performing Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and customer expectations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce developments and technologies, including DevOps and IT systems development processes (SDLC), application development, advanced programming concepts, and database systems
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop scalable and secure solutions that meet technical and business requirements
- Develop and maintain advanced programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise in the Salesforce ecosystem
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless deployment and testing of new features and releases
- Stay on top of database systems, query optimization, and RESTful API design and integration
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Financial Service Cloud, Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or DevOps and IT systems development processes (SDLC)
- Proficiency in front-end build tools and package managers like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles, browser compatibility issues, and performance optimization
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
