Job Description:

As a Better Champion, you will be responsible for welcoming clients and coordinating the branch flow through efficient queue functioning, providing excellent client service, and assisting clients at the ATM and completing transactions on any remote or self-service channels. This role requires you to be knowledgeable about bank branch environments, Capitec Bank products, and business processes. You will also have the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and coordinate the branch flow through efficient queue functioning
  • Provide excellent client service and assist clients at the ATM
  • Complete transactions on any remote or self-service channels
  • Gain knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but individual must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate
  • Some client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment is ideal
  • Basic calculations, communication skills, computer literacy, and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential
  • Knowledge of bank branch environments and Capitec Bank products and business processes is ideal

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Ideal or preferred qualifications include a higher qualification in a relevant field

Knowledge:

  • Basic calculations
  • How to engage with people
  • Clarity and understanding of own aspirations, being ambitious and keen to learn
  • Knowledge of bank branch environments and Capitec Bank products and business processes is ideal

Skills:

  • Communication skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
