Job Description:

As a Soweto Branch Better Champion, you will be responsible for welcoming clients and coordinating the branch flow through efficient queue functioning, providing excellent client service, and assisting clients at the ATM and on remote or self-service channels. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and coordinate the branch flow through efficient queue functioning
  • Provide excellent client service and assist clients at the ATM and on remote or self-service channels
  • Gain knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting

Requirements:

  • Minimum:
    • No experience required, but individual must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate
  • Ideal:
    • Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum:
    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Knowledge:

  • Minimum:
    • Basic calculations
    • How to engage with people
    • Clarity and understanding of own aspirations, being ambitious and keen to learn
  • Ideal:
    • Knowledge of bank branch environments
    • Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal)

Skills:

  • Communications Skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
