About the Job
You will work in The Local Choice Pharmacy located in Bredell Square, Kempton Park.
This is a fixed‑term contract that starts 21 November 2025 and ends 3 December 2025.
Your primary job is to help the pharmacy run smoothly every day and to keep the shelves looking great so that customers can buy what they need.
What You’ll Do
- Restock items so the shelves never run empty.
- Unpack deliveries and put products in the right places.
- Check expiry dates and use the “first‑in, first‑out” rule.
- Keep a full range of products on every shelf.
- Rotate stock daily and follow the store’s inventory rules.
- Clean and organize the storeroom.
- Report when products are low, missing or damaged.
- Help with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Keep shelves neat, with clear labels and correct prices.
- Spot and fix any price mistakes.
- Know the products well and stay updated on new items.
- Build attractive product displays.
- Load and unload stock safely.
- Tag items that arrive without barcodes.
- Handle merchandise carefully to minimise losses.
- Answer customer questions and follow up when items are out of stock.
- Wear the correct uniform and name badge.
- Train new team members.
- Report any suspicious activity.
- Keep your work area tidy and follow all safety rules.
Who We’re Looking For
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Finished Grade 12 (Matric).
- Up to 6 months of retail experience.
Nice‑to‑Have Extras
- At least 1 year of retail work.
- Basic knowledge of merchandising.
- Experience with planograms (display plans).
- Familiarity with fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG).
- Ability to speak a second language.

- Trustworthiness – keep the store safe.
- Good customer service – help shoppers feel welcome.
- Clear communication – talk and listen well.
- Attention to detail – spot small mistakes.
