What you’ll do
Customer Service & Sales
- Welcome every shopper within 30 seconds.
- Follow Birkenstock’s service steps to understand what they need and explain why the product suits them.
- Finish the sale and suggest add‑on items when it makes sense.
- Invite customers to come back again and build loyalty for the brand.
- Keep an eye on your daily sales target and stay on track.
Inventory Management
- Refill shoes, clothes, and accessories every day.
- Keep the store organized and reduce shrinkage by zoning the shop and sticking to the changing‑room policy.
- Enter all stock correctly into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Check deliveries, compare invoices, tag, hang, and record items in the system.
- Handle any customer orders you may need to coordinate.
Daily Store Operations
- Maintain a clean shop: dust surfaces, wipe mirrors, vacuum, empty bins, tidy counters, and keep changing rooms neat.
- Help the manager open and close the store.
Training & Growth
- Learn everything you need to do well. You’ll start with a buddy and attend training sessions every quarter.
- Complete assessments and get monthly feedback from your manager.
- Meet monthly with your manager to review your progress and your “Birkenstock rookie pack.”
- Good training performance can open the door to future promotions.
Merchandising
- Watch the shop layout and keep product displays neat.
- Refill sizes as needed.
- Help update windows and mannequins every two weeks.
- Handle POS materials carefully and put them back in their place.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (or equivalent) qualification.
- At least six months of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of Birkenstock products helps.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts.
