What you will do every day
- Build eye‑catching displays – design window scenes and in‑store setups that match the latest fashion campaigns.
- Follow the brand guide – use the latest display rules and merchandising manuals so every store looks the same.
- Keep things tidy – make sure the display area is neat, organized, and looks professional.
- Update for promos – change the displays quickly when there are sales, credit drives, or new arrivals.
- Answer questions – help staff and customers with anything about the displayed items or promotions.
- Stay calm – handle any conflicts or complaints politely and efficiently.
- Follow safety rules – stick to store security procedures, complete required paperwork, and follow health‑and‑safety (OHASA) guidelines.
- Take care of props – look after mannequins, models, and any other display materials.
- Work with the team – partner with store staff to make sure promotions run smoothly and the store runs efficiently.
What you need to have
- Experience – previous work in window dressing or visual merchandising is a must.
- Hands‑on skills – be able to build, paint, wire, and assemble display pieces.
- Fashion sense – understand how to style clothes and spot trends.
- Driver’s licence – you’ll need to travel between stores.
- Physical stamina – lift, carry, bend, and stand for long periods.
