The role is a fixed‑term contract, just long enough to help you learn how to sell, meet customers, and hit sales goals. What You’ll Do Every Day
- Talk and Sell – Greet shoppers, ask questions, and recommend products that fit their needs.
- Drive Sales – Use the store’s tools and your own ideas to meet and beat the daily sales targets.
- Showcase Products – Arrange items in eye‑catching displays so customers see all the great choices.
- Handle Money – Count cash, manage credit sales, and follow the store’s money‑handling rules.
- Help Customers – Quickly solve problems or answer questions to keep shoppers happy and coming back.
These tasks help the shop make money and keep customers satisfied.
Minimum Things You Need
- A Grade 12 certificate (or your equivalent).
- About 7‑12 months of sales experience – usually from a retail store, but if you’ve helped sell in any setting, that counts too.
